How Community and the Built Environment Affect School Performance

First semester of graduate school, the School of Interiors combined with the Geography department to create a course with students from both disciplines. Our class analyzed different factors that influence the community in the Northeast quadrant of Lexington, Kentucky. I focused on the elementary schools in this area and compared them to the surrounding schools in Lexington to see which environmental factors can affect school performance.
