competition awards: i-Remember™

Team i-Remember™ competed in three competitions and placed in two of them. My teammates included two UK students, Spencer Sabharwal (Business sophomore) and recent graduate, Omer Tariq (Finance and Accounting).

We placed 5th out of the 12 teams that were a part of the UK Venture Studio Bootcamp for Entrepreneurs. We won $250 and were the only team who placed that was made up of only students. The other teams were led by a UK faculty member or a professional.

We also competed in the UK Venture Challenge and came in first place winning $1,500. This automatically entered us into the IDEA State U regional competition at Lindsey Wilson College. We created a 1-minute marketing video (view below), and pitched i-Remember™ while competing against teams from other Kentucky universities. Unfortunately, we did not place, but had a great experience interacting with students, other teams, and entrepreneur and business professionals.
